Kids Peace Movement
We are a group of children from California who are requesting help for a group of children in Ghana, Africa. Recently we participated in a course of study on Peace called The Peaceport Program. Upon completion of the program which is based on the Peace Principles of Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Cesar Chavez, we were awarded with the title of Peace Ambassadors.
Through this incredible program we were invited to form a Peace Partnership with a group in Ghana, who are also partaking in the Peaceport Program. Their name is the Trinity Care Foundation and they have about 60 children who are learning the same peace principles we did recently. We exchange pictures and letters with these children in Ghana.
We recently found out that this group is currently having a very difficult time completing their program because they have run out of money to provide meals to the children whom they are teaching. We are trying to help them raise the funds they need in order to provide meals to all the children who are participating in their peace program.
It costs them $25 to feed all the children each meeting. They give two lessons per week and it will take them another 4 months to complete the Peace Program. Totalling $800 needed.
We are asking for help to raise these funds so that they can complete their program and learn these important peace lessons which will allow them the opportunity to make a difference in their community and war torn country.
